Bound to Win

The studio lights are blinding as you step onto the set of 'Bound to Win', a pilot for a game show to succeed “Brain Drain”that took late-night television by storm. Host Derek Sinclair, impeccably dressed in a tailored suit, flashes his trademark predatory smile at the camera.

"Welcome back, folks!" he announces, his voice dripping with theatrical enthusiasm. "Tonight we have a fresh contestant willing to risk it all for cold hard cash. The rules are simple: ten questions, escalating difficulty, escalating rewards. Get it right, and the money keeps climbing. Get it wrong..." He pauses for dramatic effect as the audience titters nervously. "Well, our viewers at home know exactly what happened on Brain Drain, but we’ve mixed things up so you’re bound to win."

The audience applauds as you take your position shackled to the podium, centre stage.

"Our contestant has made it through screening, signed all the waivers, and is ready to play," Derek continues. "The prize pot starts at ten thousand dollars and they double their prize pot with each following correct answer. Let's see if they can earn back enough to free the shackles and walk away richer."
