should Sally use the bathroom or go and do her morning chores?
Unexpected Turn? [Zombie Apocalypse?]
Sally was about to head toward the kitchen when the world was suddenly fractured!?!
A thunderous explosion ripped through the morning silence, the shockwave rattling the windowpanes in their frames. Sally jumped, a small shriek escaping her lips. Then came the screaming—high, jagged sounds of pure terror that tore through the air of the quiet village.
"Pap?! Grandpa?!"
Sally cried, spinning around. She rushed to the window and peered out. The sky, which had been a pale, shimmering gold moments ago, was curdling. A thick, unnatural obsidian darkness was sweeping across the horizon, swallowing the sun with an impossible speed. It felt as if night were falling in a matter of seconds. Below, in the street, the friendly atmosphere of Kandle had vanished.
Mrs. Gable, the elderly woman who always gave Sally peppermint candies, was on the ground. A man—or what used to be a man—was crouched over her. He wasn't helping her. He was tearing into her shoulder, his teeth ripping through fabric and flesh with a wet, sickening sound. Blood sprayed across the dusty road in a vibrant, horrific crimson.
"Oh no! Mrs. Gable!"
Sally didn't think. She didn't weigh the risks or consider the madness unfolding. Her heart, too big for her own good, pushed her forward. She threw open the front door and bolted into the street, her bare feet slapping against the hot dirt.
"Stop it! Leave her alone!"
Sally screamed, her voice sounding small and childish against the cacophony of chaos. The creature looked up. Its eyes were milky cataracts, devoid of pupils, and a string of bloody gore hung from its jaw. It let out a guttural, rattling moan that sounded like wet gravel being shaken in a tin can. It didn't speak; it only lunged!!
"Eek!?"
Sally froze, her eyes widening. Around her, the village had turned into a slaughterhouse. People she had known her entire life were being hunted by shambling, grey-skinned monstrosities. The guards, the few who were on duty, were being overwhelmed, their spears useless against enemies that didn't feel pain or fear.
A horde of the creatures turned their milky gaze toward her, drawn by her screams. They began to shuffle toward her, their movements jerky and unnatural, their fingers clawed and stained with old blood.
"N-No.. what's.. happenin..?! Help! Someone help me!"
Sally turned and ran. She didn't know where she was going, only that the hunger in those eyes was something she couldn't understand. She attempted to run back to her house but in a matter of seconds there were one too many of those.. THINGS blocking the entrance. With no other choice she sprinted away from her house, the heavy denim of her overalls slapping against her thighs. She dove into a narrow alleyway, her breath coming in ragged, sobbing gasps. The darkness of the sky had almost fully settled now, leaving the village in a twilight of ash and blood. The dry, stingy smell of blood was in the air.. it reeked like **** as if the town was plagued by it. She ran, ran as fast as she could but she could still hear the sound of groaning following her, giving chase like a pack of hounds **** for their prey. As she rounded a corner, her lungs burning, a door creaked open from one of the department buildings.
"In here! Quick, girl, get in here!"

Sally spun around to see an old man with a weathered, lined face and eyes that flickered with a mixture of fear and something else. This was Pete, the owner of the local shoe store. Behind him stood his son, Carl. Carl was a mountain of a man, obese and sweating, his shirt straining against a massive, protruding belly. He was known around the village as a creep, a man who spent too much time staring at the young women with a hunger that had nothing to do with food. Sally didn't care about the rumors. She saw a door and a sanctuary.
"Mr. Pete! Please! There are monsters! They're eating people!"
She scrambled inside, nearly tripping over her own feet. Pete slammed the door shut and threw a heavy iron bolt across the frame. The sound of the bolt clicking into place felt like the only certain thing in a world that had just ended.
The interior of the shoe store was dim and smelled strongly of tanned leather, polish, and old dust. Rows of boots and slippers lined the walls, creating a claustrophobic labyrinth of footwear. Sally leaned against the door, her chest heaving, the low bib of her overalls sliding further down, revealing the pale, trembling tops of her breasts.
"Are... are we safe?" she whimpered, looking up at the two men.
Pete sighed, leaning back against a counter.
"For now, little Sally. For now. I don't know what's happened to the world, but those things... they aren't people anymore."
Carl didn't say anything. He was staring. His small, beady eyes were locked onto Sally's chest, watching the way her large breasts bounced with every shuddering breath she took. He licked his lips, his tongue thick and wet.
"You're shaking, sweetheart,"
Carl said, his voice a low, greasy rumble.
"You're just terrified, aren't you?"
"I saw Mrs. Gable," Sally sobbed, covering her face with her hands.
"She was... she was bleeding so much."
Pete stepped closer, placing a hand on her shoulder. His grip was firm, perhaps a bit too firm.
"Me and my son watched a couple who always came to visit get mauled by a few of those.. things! It was horrifying. But you're safe here, at least we all are.. for now. My son and I, we'll take care of you. We've got food, water, and a sturdy door."
Sally looked at them, her innocent mind grasping for comfort.
"Thank you Mr Pete..."
The old man appeared to have sincere thoughts over Sally's safety but upon looking back at his son. He couldn't help but follow his gaze, causing him to lock eyes with Sally's large and sweating cleavage. A sudden audible gulp can be heard as, even in such a dire time, one can never truly hold back their instincts..
Sally attempts to reassess the situation
