Rate your sensitivity
Lie, "it was a 1. No sensitivity."
She looks at the computer and lets out a disapproving "hmm."
Making a serious face at you, she says, "remember what I said about honesty. I cannot make proper clinical decisions without your honest feedback. So, I will ask you again: what is your sensitivity on a scale from 1 to 10?"
She prods your neck again, but this time she doesn't stop. Fingers fluttering against the skin under your jaw. You try to turn your head away. You tense away, but her fingers follow. Embarrassingly, you let out a laugh.
"Okay okay okay okay" you say in a panic.
Her fingers stop. She stares at you and waits.
"I would say... a 3?" you answer.
She looks back at the graphs on her screen and nods. "Very good."
She pulls up your clipboard. You see a diagram of the front and back of a human body and notice.
