Sit back for her.
You try your best to relax into the upright bed, keeping still.
"First I will need some baseline data from you."
Without warning, she places three electrodes on you. The first on your cheek, the second on your your thigh. The last one she slides under your shirt and attaches firmly to your side.
"Increase in heart rate," she dictates to the computer.
"Cold," you complain. You don't comment on her warm hands.
She ignores you and says, "we are going to use a 1-10 scale, where '1' is the most mild and '10' is the most extreme. Remember, I need honest feedback. I also need you to keep still, no matter what."
