Do things continue going well for Mackenzie?

Houston we have a problem

Chapter 21 by fleekwoodmac fleekwoodmac

Mackenzie reached through the curtain and felt along the wall where her suitcase should be. Her fingers met a very concerning amount of tile. She opened the curtain a foot or so and her heart felt like it sank even more than that. The towel-clad redhead gasped. Her suitcase was wedged under a small piece of decorative trim on the bathroom wall, but now, it was no where to be seen!

"What the... Not again..." mumbled Mackenzie as she peered around the curtain at the surrounding area. Still no suitcase, but her small purse had fallen and spilled most of its contents all over the floor a few feet away.

She anxiously stuck her head out of the stall, making sure to keep everything from the neck down behind the curtain, and finally spotted her suitcase all the way at the far end of the room over by the sinks.

Mackenzie's neurons jogged to the finish line and finally she put two and two together to make four. The rolling noise hadn't been anything the lady was pushing, but Mackenzie's own suitcase rolling across the room because of the sway of the ship! The stuff clattering on the floor was all her own stuff, and the crash was her suitcase hitting the sinks. The lady hadn't been some violent crazy person, she was just mad because it almost hit her! Even after all of the safety warnings, Mackenzie actually almost took someone out with her luggage.

"Phew..." said Mackenzie, glad that her clothes weren't gone AND she didn't have some kind of suitcase-ular manslaughter lawsuit on her hands.
