Chapter 6 by coolwolf2345
Does Georgia answer?
Georgia answers... and SNEEZES!
A moment of silence followed before a thunderous sneeze erupted from within the hut. "ACCCHOOOO!" It was so powerful that it shook the structure to its core.
“Bless you!” April called out.
“Th-thank you…come in…” Georgia's voice was weak as she coughed a little.
Texas opened the door and saw Georgia lying in bed, her face pale and her body shivering.
“Oh my gosh, Georgia, you look terrible!” April exclaimed.
“I feel terrible…” Georgia groaned.
“What happened?” Texas asked.
“I don’t know…I just woke up this morning feeling like this…” Georgia explained.
Texas placed a hand on Georgia's forehead. “You’re burning up.”
“I know…” Georgia sighed.
“We need to get you to a doctor,” April said.
“No…I don’t want to leave my home…” Georgia protested.
The sheriff and the deputy glanced at each other before looking back at the deputy.
"G-Give us a moment," Texas said before she and April walked in the other direction of the Deputy's aprtment.
"Can't believe I'm saying this considering everything she did... But I feel bad for her," April said.
"I understand," Texas replied, her gaze softening. "She's a tough woman and a ex deputy, but even the toughest of us get sick sometimes."
They stood in silence for a moment, contemplating the situation. Georgia had been a thorn in their side for years, a right hand mare to vivian who had caused countless headaches for them. But seeing her so frail and ****, a sense of sympathy stirred within them.
Texas knew that long ago back at last Christmas when she and Georgia were together exchanging gifts with her's being a rare brand of whisky she wanted to try.
'What do you think we should do?' April asked, breaking the silence.
Texas pondered for a moment. "I don't trust her to stay here alone, but taking her to the doctor might be a risk. She might try to escape. And even if she doesn't, I don't think a sane or, let's be real, a corrupted doctor would help us..."
The sheriff was right. Ever since Mayor Vivian took over Gold Springs, most of the doctors became corrupted with power. Even if there were still kind doctors left, they're not crazy enough to help a ex deputy. And even if they were kind enough to help, they might be afraid that the ex deputy would pay them back with malice rather than kindness.
"Maybe we could stay with her?" April suggested. "Just for a day or two, until she's feeling better?"
Texas considered this, her lips forming a thoughtful line. "It might be the best option. We can keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't try anything."
They then looked back at the Horse who sneezed once more. The more they looked at her, the more they felt bad for her. Now, the question remains... Should they take Georgia out of the house and take her to a doctor, hoping that the doctor was nice and be kind enough to help? Or, should they stay and help Georgia on their own despite their rivalry?
Stay and Help? Or Take Roxxie to the Doctor?

Adventures of Texas
Tales from Gold Springs
Gold Springs is a town of anthro animals in the middle of the wild west. Once a profitable gold mining town, it has fallen to corruption and banditry. Follow the adventures of the town's weasel sheriff, Texas, as she and her deputy April try to bring back law and order to Gold Springs, fighting fat and smelly villains who want nothing more than to squash and gas our heroes into paste. This is a fetish story, and while it will mostly be focused on themes such as squashing, flattening, gassing and some scat, really any fetish except gore is welcome here. However, if those main fetishes offend you, do not read this interactive. Bad ends are MORE than welcome. This story was originally available on Writing.com.
