Changes & Growth

It was Sunday. Nadia and Leon drove out to the garden centre. They were picking up a few things: gloves, a few tools like spades, some fertiliser, and maybe a pot plant or two.

It was a growing addiction of theirs — house plants. They lived in a little nice apartment with a good sunroof, allowing the houseplants to thrive.

But the best part was a little shared garden between three apartments where roses were planted, a small plot of vegetables, and an apple tree.

It was something to do on the weekend.

Nadia and Leon both worked full-time jobs. Leon was a sales assistant at a local business firm. Nadia no longer danced at Carte Rouge: Visa — instead she worked as a cook at the hotel,
