What's next?
Boring classes
You head to your math class. It's just as boring as ever. Even Mr. Brown seems to be half asleep, his eyes glazed over as he delivers a monotonous lecture on statistical inference. He doesn't react at all when you slip into the classroom and take your seat.
Thankfully, there are only a few minutes left until the class ends.
Ignoring Mr. Brown entirely, you pull out your phone and quickly text Katie:
"Hey, sorry about my outburst earlier. I know I probably overreacted. It's just been a really weird day."
You hit send. A few moments later, you see the message mared as "read", but she doesn't respond.
Damn. She seems angry.
You watch the screen for another minute, waiting and hoping for the three dots that would mean she's typing something. But nothing comes.
With a frustrated sigh, you put your phone away as the bell rings.
Next is U.S. History with Mr. Miller.
