How does their battle go?
It's definitely a challenge
Eri found herself walking around the battle area, but she wasn't seeing any challengers. It made sense, the sun was beginning to rise which meant that most people were wrapping up their battles for the night. Many had probably either lost and retreated, or battled and won enough that their Pokemon needed a rest. Which generally meant the only ones left were people like her.
She had won a couple battles tonight, but in general she had been walking around by herself, not finding many opponents. And because of the solitude, she was a bit rattled when she passed by an alley and heard something strange.
"Seel Seel. Seel Seel."
Eri peeked into the alley to see Misty standing there, blank and naked, clapping her hands dumbly.
"What the--?! Aren't you Misty? The gym leader?" She questioned, a bit shaken by Misty's sudden appearance and strange situation.
That's when she noticed the shadow looming behind her, and saw a pair of swirling lights begin.
"What is that?! Whatever it is, I'll take it down" Eri snarled as she held up a Pokeball.
"Half the team is down, including your brother. I'm counting on you Primeape!" She declared as she threw the Pokeball, and a Primeape appeared.
"Primeape?" Malamar thought to himself "An easy win... And a good option for her to become."
It was easy for Malamar to send a psychic blast out and immediately defeat the poor Monkey Pokemon, sending it back to its ball.
"Crap... Maybe I should run?" Eri pondered. But as she turned around she noticed Misty had moved, now blocking her path.
"Guess my only choice is to fight. You're up, Lucario!" She declared as she tossed out her next Pokemon. But she was starting to feel a bit light headed for Malamar's tendrils. Granted, she didn't know that they were the cause.
