Chapter 9 by jw_wjw

Does Rachel get a phone call to prove her innocence, or is she thrown out with absolutely nothing to her name? Do the cops join in on her humiliation?

Streaking outside

"Wait!" Rachel tried to explain herself, "check my ID, it's in my purse! I swear!"

The lifeguard gave Rachel the stink eye and walked back out past the corner. In actuality, she was just making sure Rachel wouldn't do anything while the lifeguard was distracted rummaging through the woman's purse with everything in her hand. To Rachel, though, it seemed like she was getting nowhere with the lifeguard that had just walked away with all her stuff.

Rachel considered running after her but felt it was no use. She also could go to the lost and found, but didn't want to be caught trespassing and possibly going to jail, so that wasn't a great option, either.

The lifeguard went through Rachel's purse and found her wallet. She opened it and saw the driver's license with the picture matching the woman whom she had thought was a prepubescent girl.

Blushing with great embarrassment at her mistake, the lifeguard returned to the main locker room area and started with a "I'm absolutely sorry miss, here's your stuf-" before noticing that the woman was nowhere to be found.

----

Rachel was smart enough not to be caught streaking the main areas of the hall, so she snuck around to the back exit, her bare feet tapping lightly on the tile floor. She gently opened the door to the alley, the bright sun casting down on her pearl-white skin as she gently closed it and looked around her.

Rachel has absolutely nothing on her person. Now what?
