Chapter 14 by Romanorgy Romanorgy

What's next?

Enhance sex appeal

You drift into the center of the room, positioned right between the two families. You tap into your growing reservoir of Essence, weaving a subtle, shimmering veil over the newcomers.

You push a wave of raw, physical magnetism through the air. You don't just make them look better; you make the light in the room cling to them.

Mike leans against the doorframe, his biceps flexing casually as he holds the lemon bars. Under your influence, the shadows in the room deepen around his jawline, making him look like a rugged lead in a romance novel. Cherie catches herself staring at the way his shirt stretches across his chest. She feels a sudden, sharp pang of comparison to Chad’s irritable, sweaty state. Her breath hitches, and she quickly takes a sip of her "ghost coffee" to hide her sudden arousal.

Lisa isn't to be outdone. As she sets her camera bag down, you nudge the air to catch her hair just right. She looks authoritative, creative, and dangerously sophisticated. Tyler is mesmerized—not just by the camera, but by the confident, "cool older woman" energy she’s radiating. Even Chloe feels a spike of competitive admiration; she sees Lisa and realizes this is the woman who can make her famous.

"Wow," Chloe says, her voice a bit more breathy than usual. "Is that the new R5? My friend Jessica said those are amazing for... well, everything."

Lisa flashes a knowing, brilliant smile, her eyes traveling over Chloe with a professional's appreciation for a good subject. "It is. And you have the bone structure for it, sweetie. We’ll have to get you in front of a lens once you’re settled."

After some conversation, Mike turns his charm on Cherie. "So, Cherie, you're a writer, huh? I’ve always found creative women... fascinating. It takes a lot of stamina to build a world from scratch." He lets his eyes drop to her lips for a fraction of a second before looking back up.

Chad clears his throat loudly, the tension in the room making his radar ping, though he can't put his finger on why. "Right. Well. Nice to meet you. We’ve got a lot of boxes to move, so..."

"Oh, don't be a grouch, Chad," Cherie teases, her voice having a new, playful edge. She looks at Mike, then back to the empty air where she thinks her helpful ghost might be. "I think we can spare a few minutes for lemon bars."

Kenzie stands by the stairs, watching the exchange. She’s sketching something small in a notepad—not a person, but a shadow. She feels the "charge" in the room more than the others, her artistic soul sensing the unnatural vibrancy you've draped over the neighbors.

As the group stands in the sun-drenched foyer, the air is thick with the scent of potential. You drift toward Kenzie, the quiet observer of the family. Finishing her sketch, she watches Tyler and Chloe talking with lisa about her photography. While her siblings are focused on the "how" (the camera) and the "who" (the subject), Kenzie is focused on the why—the feeling of the room.
