To the river

It didn't seem like the best call given they needed to stay on a vague schedule at the very least, but Sarah relented and simply shrugged, taking the lead down the patch to the river. Joining her was Mary, while Katie and Annabelle lagged behind a little.

"So-" The brunette was first to speak as they walked along, this new trail seeming more winding and uneven than the main path "You're naked"

"Observant" Mary chuckled in reply "Surprising?"

"A little, I guess I'm feeling a bit of what you felt yesterday morning. Seeing your friend just suddenly very nude" Sarah tried her best not to look over her friend's body, even if she'd given permission for her friends to look at her own.

Mary let out a quiet hum, then took a moment to step over a log before offering her reply "That's fair. Though in my case I can explain" That made the brunette tilt her head, she didn't expect her friend to have reasoning "So, we met two years ago right? And I told you that I moved back to America from Barcelona?"

"I...I think it might have come up?" Sarah scratched the back of her neck, wondering why that was relevant here.

"I moved there when I was eighteen to do some studies, Spanish Civil War stuff, that's not important. What is important is that I was very quickly informed about the legality of public nudity in that city"

"Wait a sec, public nudity? In a city?"

"As long as you're not causing a disturbance you can effectively go where you please" Mary explained with a smile "And so I lived three years as a complete nudist"

"My friend Mary was a nudist and I had no idea?" Sarah asked with a blush and a surprised grin.

"What do you mean was? I still practise whenever I get the chance, why do you think I live alone?"

"You go naked at home?"

"Literally all the time, even in Winter. The heating bills get a bit shitty though"

"Okay uh, well that's news. But why didn't you get naked sooner? I was literally nude in the same car as you, you could've undressed whenever"

"To be fair I was making sure that you weren't just being an exhibitionist. No judgement if you are of course, I just didn't want to mess with your vibe if you were gunning to be the only one naked. And you are an exhibitionist, I can tell. I just know you're enough of a nudist too"

Sarah just nodded at that, blushing at her friend's assessment of her. Was it really that obvious?

"And you're naked now?" She asked the blonde, gesturing at her body "Did you really throw your clothes away?"

"Pft, of course not" Mary laughed "I sold them. You'd be surprised how forthcoming strangers are with money if you're offering them used clothes"

"You sold someone your sweaty hiking clothes?" Sarah raised an eyebrow, but couldn't help but smirk.

"Why not? I don't need them, and if someone wants to do weird things to them who cares? Not my clothes anymore"

The two nude women just giggled at that, then laughed as they kept going down this winding trail towards the river...
