Breakfast is served.

“He’s outside and I can’t carry everything,” Cole said, breaking the silence.

“I can’t go outside like this!?” Adrian replied. “My …”

“Your what?” Cole asked curiously, before his eyes scanned his friend’s chest.

Bashfully, Adrian clutched his tits to cover his nipples. “I didn’t realize till I sat down how see through this shirt is.”

“Well the faster we go, the fewer people will see!” Cole reasoned.

“Ugh, fine.” And with that, Cole and Adrian stepped out of their loft. Adrian said a silent prayer on the elevator ride down, grateful that their neighbors didn’t go in for doorbell cams.

Cole went ahead and grabbed the first bag and drink while the delivery guy took his time handing the second bag and drink to Adrian. Before leaving, the delivery driver shot Cole a quick look followed by a nod of respect, Adrian scoffed slightly as they made their way back inside.

“Not too bad, right?” Cole asked as they placed their bags on the island. “Nope not at all, just the first guy to see me, leered at me. Men are fine.” Adrian remarked sarcastically.

“Oh come on, you know you look,” Cole replied.

“Yeah obviously but with some subtlety.”

“Fair enough.”

As they ate, Cole couldn’t help but admire his friend’s transformation. While loathe to admit it, Adrian’s skin felt hot under his gaze and strange butterflies fluttered in his stomach.

“Stop.” Adrian commanded.

“Stop what?” Cole replied, feigning innocence.

“You’re staring at me like …like I’m a woman.”

“You definitely look like one…a hot one at that” Cole said with a playful smirk.

The butterflies in Adrian’s stomach jumped a little at the compliment. Face flushed, “Just eat so we can keep watching tv, we didn’t finish all the episodes.”

“Yes ma’am.” Cole said with a mock salute.

Adrian rolled his eyes with a grin as they continued to eat and made their way to the couch. Adrian’s stomach twisted in weird knots, wrestling with the feeling of liking the attention and hating being seen that way.
