A mission

Everyone held onto Ekko, and the world spun around them, until it deposited them yet again in an Anomaly, except this time the Anamoly was blue.

Ekko looked ahead on the ground, where there was a blue circle with green runes, and indents for feet.

Time-Shatterer

"I think it wants you to stand there," Jinx said. "C'mon, Dream Ekko, be brave!"

Ekko sighed as he stepped forward onto the glowing step. "This isn't a dream, Jinx."

Then, the Anomaly condensed around Ekko, and he was lifted into the air, the Anomaly creating a bubble around him.

"What's happening?" Violet asked in a panic.

"I don't know!" Ekko said.

Caitlyn scoffed. "And you say we need you."

The bubble started to show green runes, and Ekko read it.

"It just keeps on repeating Understanding and Desire!" Ekko said, then the bubble started to shrink into him.

The bubble became smaller and smaller, until it shrunk under his clothes, then the bubble popped, and Ekko fell to the ground.

"I understand it now!" Ekko said, turning around to the three women, who were blushing lightly.

"Then explain!" Caitlyn demanded.

"The Arcane, it wasn't ready to bring so many people back through time, so it fractured," Ekko explained. "Now, we need to fix it by travelling through the Arcane, and kind of gluing the cracks, which are us."

"Ok, and how do we do that?" Violet asked.

"That's the weird part," Ekko said, blushing. "The only way to glue the cracks are to be with me..."

Violet raised an eyebrow. "We're with you right now?"

"Not like that," Ekko said. "We need to fall in love, kinda. But not really, we need to gather parts of other versions of us that are intimate throughout the multiverse, so that we can fix the cracks."

"So, you're taking advantage of us being stuck in the Arcane now?" Caitlyn raged. "Tell us the truth, or I swear I'll kill you."

"I'm telling the truth!" Ekko said. "Look, those runes that we picked? Those were options of how we'd let the Arcane change us through the journey. The Arcane is choosing which rune we'll get, and it changes us fundamentally. Understanding made me understand what's going on, and Desire made you guys all have a desire for me! If you don't believe me, let me prove it. Once each of you step onto your rune, you'll understand exactly what the runes you got do to you!"

"Well, it seems like it's my turn!" Jinx said, jumping to the new glowing circle.

Just like Ekko, Jinx was lifted into the air in a sphere, then a single rune started to repeat.

"Pow-Pow," Ekko read, and the bubble started shrinking.

When it finally popped, Jinx fell to the ground, but she wasn't alone.

"Who the hell are you?" Jinx asked, looking at the healthy blue haired girl standing next to her.

"Who are you?" The girl asked, panicked. "Where am I?"

"This isn't a dream?" Jinx asked. "You're real? Ekko, you went to an alternate universe and met a version of me and you didn't tell me?"

"I've been telling you this is real, Jinx," Ekko said. "And yes, I went to an alternate reality. Powder, meet Jinx, the version of you from the universe I'm from."

"Ekko?" Powder said confusedly. "If you're the one who hijacked my Ekko's body, why are you dressed like my Ekko?"

Ekko looked at his outfit embarrassedly. "I kind of had to pander to Piltover for a little bit."

Powder raised an eyebrow, then she faced Jinx. "Nice to meet you, Jinx."

Jinx slapped Powder's hand away and glared at Ekko. "You're explaining everything, mister."

"There isn't a lot to tell," Ekko said. "We made the Z-Drive together, then I came back."

"You're not gonna tell her about how we kissed?" Powder asked.

Ekko blushed. "I didn't need to tell everyone that."

"You wouldn't tell your girlfriend about another girl before her?" Powder asked.

"Hold up," Ekko said. "Jinx isn't my girlfriend. Now, if that's all, can we move on?"

"You aren't his girlfriend?" Powder asked Jinx. "What have you two been doing in your world?"

"She's been pretending she's dead for the past five years," Ekko said.

"What!?" Powder exclaimed.

Everyone stared at Jinx, who grew increasingly uncomfortable.

After a few seconds, she groaned. "I'm not explaining this."

Jinx grabbed Violet and pushed her into her runic circle before she could react.

"Jinx!" Violet exclaimed angrily as the Anomaly bubble lifted her.

Jinx put a finger on her chin as the rune materialized. "Hmm, what's this saying? Butch, and Pink."

The bubble shrunk, then it dropped a changed Violet.

"What the fuck!" Violet screamed. "This - the Arcane changed everything about me!"

Jinx petted Violet's new ears. "I don't know, Vi, these ears feel pretty cozy."

Violet slapped Jinx's hand away. "That's exactly the problem!"

"Vi?" Powder asked. "You're Vi?"

"Not anymore," Violet grumbled. "I've lost everything that made me!"

Powder ran up to Violet and hugged her tightly. "I've missed you."

Violet stared at Ekko confusedly over Powder's shoulder.

"Hey, paws off my sister, Not-Me," Jinx grumbled, pulling Powder off of Vi. "Wait, Vi, do you have paws now?"

"No," Violet blushed. "Only the ears, tail, and sexual needs of a dog. That's from my Butch, and Pink makes all my clothing princess-y."

Caitlyn glared at Ekko. "Are you enjoying this? Changing us, destroying everything we once were?"

"Not really," Ekko said. "But you might just change that."

Caitlyn glared. "How do we know that you didn't plan for this from the beginning?"

"I didn't know Jinx was alive," Ekko said. "How would I bring her here?"

"How did I come here, anyways?" Jinx asked.

"I'm confused about that as well," Powder said.

"For Jinx, I don't really understand why," Ekko said. "Maybe we'll find out. But Powder, the Arcane kind of grabbed you after Jinx's runs activated."

"What's even going on?" Powder asked.

"Lemme give you the rundown, Not-Me," Jinx said, throwing an arm over Powder's shoulder. "Ekko tried fixing everything wrong with our universe, but my sister and her girlfriend fucked his spell up, and now we're all stuck because the Arcane might break. I miss anything?"

"Violet is my wife," Caitlyn grumbled.

"Ooh," Jinx winced. "Vi, you have my condolences."

Caitlyn stomped towards Jinx. "I'll show you condolences, you -"

Caitlyn was cut off as she accidentally stepped over her runic circle.

"And that's a trap sprung," Jinx said as the bubble lifted Caitlyn.

"Never Miss, and Cupcake," Ekko read, and the bubble began to shrink.

Once the bubble popped, the slightly changed Caitlyn stared at them in horror.

"Never Miss made my chance at being pregnant guaranteed if I have sex with a man!" Caitlyn said, then her glare settled on Ekko, and she started stalking towards him. "This was your plan, wasn't it!? You give me an ass as well, you make all of us want you, you get all of us, you perverted, disgusting, person!"

"For the last time, you weren't meant to get grabbed by the Arcane," Ekko said.

Caitlyn just yelled, and threw a punch at Ekko, which he caught.

As soon as Caitlyn's hand landed in Ekko's, the Anomaly turned yellow, then it started spinning and shrinking around them.

Ekko's eyes widened. "It's gonna teleport us to-"

"-Another unive- oh, SHIT!" Ekko exclaimed as he came.
