You test your powers again

It's been long enough since you used them last. You figure they should probably work again now.

You walk into the house and your mom starts rattling off chores she wants you to do. Dishes, cleaning out the toilets, mopping the kitchen, raking the leaves, you don't let her finish though.

Why don't you do them mom? You think to her.

"You know," she says, "why don't I do them for you? You probably have a lot of homework to catch up on anyway."

No headache this time either, it looks like your power just needs a few hours to recharge before you can use it again.

Your mom goes out to rake the leaves, leaving you and Macie.
