Take the Elevator

Megan took one look at the stairs, before shaking her head. There was no way she was going to walk upstairs in this short dress and no underwear. Not to mention the rogue factor of Bradley.

"We'll take the elevator up," she told him, walking towards it and pressing the call button.

"And Mommy will be upstairs?" Bradley asked his voice filled with innocent hope.

"I hope so," Megan replied, sounding less convinced than she felt.

The elevator doors slowly opened, and Megan let out a sigh of relief when she discovered it was empty. "Okay, come on." She said, tugging Bradley's hand slightly as she stepped inside and pressed the button for the first floor.
