Lauren refuses

"Come on dork, just get in the car!" Called out one of the girls.

This just annoyed Lauren more, and she grew more stubborn and obstinate.

"Fuck off!" Lauren barked. "I'm not doing shit!"

"Lauren, you always make things so much harder on yourself." Dennis shook his head, though the grin never left his face.

He got a faraway look on his face. Then, all the girls in the car burst out laughing.

"What?" Lauren asked, confused.

"Look down dork!" Laughed the main girl.

Confused, Lauren's gaze traveled downwards...
