Trapped

Megan froze for a fraction of a second. If she was going to get her jeans back she needed to head back out into the shop, and if there really was someone out there she could get caught. Still, it was better than just hiding here.

Cautiously she reached for the handle of the storeroom door, and as she pulled the handle came off in her hand.

"What the...." Megan muttered, looking at the handle in her hand, feeling that panic beginning to well inside her. She couldn't possibly be trapped inside the store room? She couldn't be that unlucky!

Frantically she scrambled with the handle, trying in vain to reattach it, before trying to **** the door. The bang of her body against the door made her freeze. If she made too much noise and there was someone in the shop they would come to investigate, and find her like this. How would she explain her lack of jeans?

She pulled away from the door, looking around frantically, wondering if there was another way out.
