Jan. Week 3: A Long Weekend-Movies--It was Mr. Howard...

It was Mr. Howard. Leah’s heart frozen when she heard his voice again.

“Ah Miss Williams, fancy finding you here.” He shot her a predatory smile “What are you and your future husband watching today?”

“Oh..uh Mr. Howard…” Leah looked around “Oh just a drama film. What are you doing here? I mean—what are you watching?” The words tumbled out of her mouth awkwardly. She didn’t want Mr. Howard to know she was there without Jonathan.

“A drama? Certainly like to generally avoid that myself.” he chuckled “I’m here seeing an action film—though I’d certainly to prefer having a little…action with you. Pretty quiet during these matinée hours.”

“Are you serious?” Leah asked completely shocked. He looked around and it was all very quiet. It was dead that time of the afternoon generally, that is why the good prices for matinees existed.

“Yes.” He said curtly, just as if he had been asked if the sky was blue or some routine question from a staff member on a busy Monday.

“Where!? You are crazy!” she said hushing her voice—as if anyone was around at all.

“Bathroom is pretty quiet. I mean…I can always just go talk to Jonathan—now THAT would be a drama of the year. Best picture worthy for sure.” He folded his arms waiting for her reply.

If he saw that she wasn’t even here with Jonathan that might give him even MORE dirt on her. But if they got caught in here—in a public place…it could be a disaster too. Granted-Mr. Howard was also taking that calculated risk. If she lingered too long with Mr. Howard what would Daniel think…She needed to make a decision…
