Jan. Week 3: A Long Weekend-Leah did some self-care (Luck: +5)

Leah slipped out of bed. Se wanted to get up and about. She relaxed a bit in the living room with a cup of coffee. She slipped back into the master bedroom and Jonathan was still sleeping. Leah got dressed for a work out and sent him a text to let him know where she was going.

“Going to go on a run!”

On the curb, the chill bit through her leggings and shocked her awake. She ran until her lungs burned, until the taste of blood and iron flooded her mouth and washed out the guilt, until her mind was a blank, bright whiteboard. When she returned, sweat soaking her shirt and hairline, Jonathan was lost in his pixelated world. But she was never one for easy. Well she WAS easy but…

She couldn’t wipe the guilt off with soap though.
