You power through your fatigue and keep walking until sunrise. You reach the city, and now you have to find a way to safety before you pass out.

Cities are notoriously dangerous, you could always stay close to the outskirts or even turn around. The only thing driving you forward is the hope that there is a resistance camp that isn't overrun.

There is no visible sign of life, nor sounds or scents. The immediate area has long-since been abandoned.
