Jeremy nodded, "Yeah, before I started in my father's company, I was a good friend of Lachlan's actually."

A look of surprise crossed Mom's face, having never invited Jeremy home.

Jeremy continued, "You've probably seen me at school award nights." He flashed a grin that was too smooth, too practiced. "I was valedictorian last year. Your son must've mentioned me."

Mom's perfectly sculpted eyebrows arched slightly, lips parting as if to speak—then closing again, memories of the awards night resurfacing. Of Jeremy winning awards left, right and center all thanks to my hard work! But to Mom, Jeremy was the child she wished she had. Academic brilliance, social graces, and the kind of confidence that made parents whisper approvingly in PTA meetings.

"Ah yes, I remember you," she smiled her golden smile at him, flashing him her pearly whites. Jeremy continued reciting a long list of achievements, both real and fake, "I was captain of the debate team..."

Mom bit her lip.

"... I won gold at the math olympiad..."

Mom twirled her hair.

"... and I interned at a law firm over the summer."

Suddenly conscious, Mom straightened her posture, pulling her shoulders back, which made her chest jut out more prominently.

"That's—that's very impressive," she breathed, the tips of her fingers brushing lightly against the hem of her skirt as if unconsciously smoothing it down. Through the slit in the center of her skirt, I noticed a liquid dribbling down the insides of her thighs. I couldn't believe my eyes. Was she actually wetting herself from excitement? Jeremy didn't miss it either—his gaze flicked downward, lingering for a fraction too long before snapping back up with a smirk, pleased with the effect he had on her.

I never knew mom would be so seduced by perfectionism. Perhaps Jeremy was right. Maybe he would get to see more skin than I ever dreamed possible.
