You text back and forth with Eve, but most of the day you're researching online about Professor Miles. You scope through photos of his online work starting from the beginning of his career. You're looking for any mentions of his travels, of the cultures he's been exposed to, of significant milestones in his career. You hope that one name will stick out, since you can't remember what Miles said when he showed off the ring.

All day you search but nothing comes up. Frustrated, you go to bed, bringing despair at having Professor Miles tomorrow and seeing what new depravity lay in store.
