On the spot

I'd have shrank back in my seat if my seat didn't happen to be Kim's body. Actually, I tried to do just that, but that only made Kim laugh as I tried to bury my head in her chest. Rachel and Jenny just gave me an expectant look. Shit...d...did they want me to agree with them or just come up with my own idea? Would the other be mad if I didn't pick what they wanted...? Think...think...

Swallowing, I decided to take the plunge. "W...well, since...since this is...you know, Jenny's day...let's go with a romantic comedy," I suggested weakly. It seemed fair enough. I glanced over at Rachel to make sure she wasn't upset. She was...but seemingly more at Jenny than at me. She gripped my arm tighter and grumbled something under her breath.

Jenny was less than gracious about it. "HA! In your face, Rae-Rae!" she declared, blowing a raspberry at the girl on my opposite side. I yelped as Rachel's fingers dug into my arm. She quickly apologized for it.

Jumping from the couch, Jenny wandered over to the DVD rack. "Hmmmmmmm..." she hummed in a deliberately long fashion. "You know...maybe a romantic comedy isn't the way to go," she stated.

"Too bad, John already made the choice!" Rachel snapped, taking this opportunity to needle her "sister". "Isn't that right, John?" I nodded. "Y...yeah..."

Snickering, Jenny waved a finger at us. "Tut, tut. You haven't heard my new idea yet," she chided. I heard Kim chuckle, apparently able to tell where this was going. Rachel muttered an "oh", her cheeks turning pink. Now I was the only one out of the loop. I doubted that would remain the case.

"That's right, ladies and mouse...I'm talking about a film of the more...adult variety," she pink haired minx purred, reaching behind some of the DVDs and pulling out a case which I could only assume held the movies in question. "Think of it as a way to get a certain someone in the right frame of mind for tonight." She winked and blew me a kiss. Oh boy...
