Once it's completely gone a hole will apear wear the chain once was and that whole will turn into a hallow.

Every time you do a good deed in life, the longer your chain will be when you die. Buying you more time before you turn. However every time you do something bad your chain shrinks. So most Hallows were bad people in life but anyone can become a hallow.

The only way to prevent this from happening is for a soul reaper to send your soul to soul society with Konso before you turn into a hollow. There your chain of fate will disappear and no hole will apear on your body. You will no longer be on a timer to become a hollow. However it will be nearly impossible to find your dead friends or relatives, you're going to be increadably poor and hallows can sneak into soul society anyways. Still there are far less hallows in soul society then on earth anyways, so you're fare less likly to become 1 in soul society I suppose. In modern day your life in soul society is probably going to be much worse then in the land of the living, but it beats being a hallow.

Ok, now to explain soul reapers. When you are born, there are 2 souls inside you. Your soul and a Zanpakuto spirit. They live inside your inner world and can see everything you do. After you die if you have a powerful soul and are properly trained, you can summon the spirit in the form of a sword. Wholes with Zanpakuto are called soul reapers. There jobs are to send wholes on earth to soul society and to destroy hallows.

Oh yeah. Ghosts can die a second time. If you were a good person or like an average person you get reincarnated. If you where a completely iradeemable asshole your soul is sent to hell. You can't die from old age or hunger once you're a ghost though so thats something at least.

You are a Fulbringer. Or at least a very unique 1. If a living pregnant woman is attacked by a hallow and survives or if 1 of your parents was a hallow, you become a Fulbringer when you're born. You'll have more spirt energy then the average person and if you are in a life or **** situation while touching an object of emotional value, you'll transfers hallow spirirt energy into the object and transform it into a Fulbring.
