Level 3

You step outside to join Harley and just make it down the steps before the adrenaline kicks in.

"HAHAHAHA" she roars with laughter "Here we go again"

Your legs kick out from underneath you as you crumple to the floor, the rush floods through your nerve endings and tears through your blood.

"HOLY FUCK!" you cry into the cold Gotham air "THEY'RE GETTING STRONGER!"

"Of course they are. sweetie" Harley smiles at you, placing her hand on top of your head as the moment subsides "You're getting stronger, faster, better" She starts to mimic an old television voiceover you recall hearing "We have the technology, we can rebuild him"

"I'm not sure if I can take anymore like that" you say with a worried tone "And if they're only going to get stronger..." you trail off.

"Oh don't worry" Harley reassures you, kneeling down to look you in the eyes "Nobody's ever gone explodey during one of those...well,not that I know of...just don't fight it, enjoy it" She grins standing and striking a body builder pose "After all, look at me. I'm the picture of perfect health"

You cast you eyes over her body and can't help but feel a familiar twinge echo in your groin.

"Well physically you are" you chuckle "But mentally..."

"Ha-ha" Harley replies narrowing her eyes "I do the jokes round here"

You get to your feet and dust yourself down.

"So" you say, turning your back on Harley and looking at your reflection in the glass from the door "What do you think THAT did to me?"

"Oh, I have an idea" she says from over your shoulder "Hey Rookie!" she yells"Think fast!"

You spin around and see one of Harley's mallet's hurtling towards your head with a great ****.

"HOLY FUCK!" you exclaim.

You move with a grace and speed you've never possessed before ,easily side steeping the incoming danger and watching it smash the glass behind you into a thousand pieces.

"WHAT THE FUCKING HELL HARLEY!" you shout at her "ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE!"

"Well, duh" Harley says, furrowing her brow.

"YOU COULD'VE FUCKING KILLED ME!" you rant.

"Woah, woah, woah. Calm down, will ya" she says, hands raised in a gesture of innocence "First off, if I'd wanted to kill ya I'd have done that the first time we met. Secondly, I know a thing or two about how this works. See, you just face fucked a flyer and flyer's always give you a boost to your speed an agility...and if they're like Superman a few other things as well..." she starts to drift off in a dreamy eyed stated before shaking her head and snapping back to reality "...but that's a story for another time. Now I knew that Aero in there was a flyer. but it's obvious that she wasn't a strong one so I figured that it'd be best to test it out with a mallet."

"As opposed to?" you ask, not really wanting to know the answer.

"Oh" she grins "I was thinking of just shooting you but you're not at faster-than-a-speeding-bullet level yet and good sidekicks are hard to find."

"You really are nuts,you know that?"

"Of course I do sweetie" she sweetly smiles "Now let's try those new powers out"

With that she cartwheels across the street and starts to climb up a drainpipe.

"Well,you coming then or not?" she shouts back at you when she's halfway up "I ain't got all day"

You sigh to yourself "This bitch is gonna kill me, why didn't I just go straight home after work?" before running across the road and following her trail.

You clamber to the top with ease, surprised by this new found agility and speed you seem to have.

"Hey Harley!" you call out with glee when you get to the roof "Did you see that! I was like a Ninja!"

You look across the rooftop and see Harley stood at the edge looking down in wonder.

"Well then, Ninja boy" she says, beckoning to you to join her "What the hell do you make of that?"
