White Sissy’s vs Black Studs

With the white pieces on the board, the black pieces entered from the opposite side.

A few chuckles rang out from both sides as the black King walked in. His costume was based on King Edward VII of the UK, son of Queen Victoria.

The king’s bishop walked up next. He was dressed in more modern vestments.

Then came the King’s knight, dressed as NYPD highway patrol and also on a motorcycle.

Lastly was a hummer of young men dressed a naval cadets, serving as the King’s rook.
