She detains Morgan and hides her away

With Morgan still ****, Layla had brought Morgan to her secret workshop and stripped her of all clothing. Layla then made sure to draw several runes onto Morgan's skin which would ensure that Morgan would be cut off from her own vast stores of magic; at least for the time being it would be temporary but until such time as the runes wore off Morgan would be as weak as an ordinary woman.

Wasting no time Layla quickly drew some blood from Morgan and with a combination of her magic and Morgan's blood she created an animated golem that would be able to pass off as the "real" Morgan so as not to draw suspicion from the people in the castle.

Layla then has the golem return to Morgan's office to mascarade as the "real" Morgan for now.

"Hmm if what Ingrid tells me is correct perhaps you might appreciate what comes next my queen....."
