"I want to sit with you at lunch. I look small and weak; I am human, an unknown. I have apex omnivore status, but no one can see it. If I sit with the top predators, my cred and standing will go up." You explain. You look between Abby and Hollie, trying to gauge their response.
What's next?
In this world anyone and anything can be eaten, and even those you least expect can eat you. Digestion is guaranteed, but not lethal... sorta... You see, in this world exists technology that allows those who have been digested and disposed to be reformed. How it works will remain magic. Digestion is painful unless the person is experienced with controlling it. This story will also split at the very beginning between a world much as we know it and an anthropomorphic world, but the protagonist will always be human. No hard vore.
