Auntie's Aftermath
As usual much less time had passed than the vision would lead one to believe, and Vel was still positioned above Fionne, his softening dick having not even left her pussy.
He was welcomed back to the present by the face of one very stupefied aunt. Vel really couldn’t blame her. Chastising himself internally for his stupidity, Vel wondered why he couldn’t he have, just this once, spent himself outside. He’d not even thought about whether Fionne was taking precautions against pregnancy, and now she had been exposed to a vision without him having prepared her in any way for the true extent of what he was. What a mess.
Just as he was trying to think of how he should break the silence, Fionne’s face went from dumbfounded to thoughtful.
“You are a lot more than just a mindmage, aren’t you, Velas?”
Vel would never say it to either one of them, but Fionne and Rienne were more alike than they knew.
How was he to reply to that, though? Honesty. So far that had gotten him everything he wanted and more from Fionne, and risky though it was, he would stay the course.
“Yes, yes, I am. Actually I- hold on a second.“
Holding himself above her like this was a bit impractical, and he once again laid on his side facing her.
“That’s better. Yes, I am The Chosen.”
He used the Vashkai term for what he was, certain Fionne would know it.
To her immense credit, she took it in stride. Her expression was, at most, slightly bemused.
"Huh. So, Kal was right, it wasn’t all nonsense."
Vel let out a relived breath he hadn’t even realized he’d been holding. Not that he even needed to breathe anymore.
He was surprised by her easy acceptance of what was a very big claim, but perhaps he shouldn’t have been. His aunt had proven remarkably sharp so far and had correctly deduced that her mind had been altered, despite how outlandish something like that must seem.
“It is very much not nonsense, far from it. The last vestige of this world’s one true god resides in me.”
Fionne nodded slowly, then grinned in the same delighted way she had after their first bout of fucking.
“This is even better!”
The joyous exclamation caught Vel somewhat off guard and he was about to ask what she meant, but his aunt wasn’t done.
“The first man I enjoy fucking isn’t just capable of helping me achieve my goals, with you on my side, there’s no end to what I can achieve.”
Luckily his little transgression seemed forgotten, or perhaps his aunt had no idea he had broken his word. He wasn’t about to bring it up, but something else had to be.
“This means I just got you pregnant.”
A flicker of displeasure, but then she shrugged.
“I guess it can’t be helped. I have never wanted marriage or kids, but mostly because I resented the idea of being chained down by the obligations that come with it. I have a feeling this will be very different. And besides, if how I felt in what we shared just now is true, I am going to love our daughter more strongly than I ever thought I could love another person.”
She hadn’t been exaggerating when she’d claimed to be pragmatic, her ability to just roll with almost anything was impressive. She turned her head to meet his eyes.
“It wasn’t some illusion you conjured.”
It clearly hadn’t been phrased as a question, so Vel just waited for her to go on.
That made sense, it had seemingly been the case for everyone who’d had a vision so far. Fionne’s features slid into one of her familiar smirks.
“I guess I had no idea just how badly I underestimated you, Velas.”
He smiled at her.
“No, you really did not. You can’t be blamed for it either though.”
Her smirk became a full-on smile.
“No, you’re right. I am not one to easily forgive my own failings, but just this once, I will make an exception. No one can be expected to anticipate this.”
Fionne’s expression grew serious again.
“What exactly does this mean for us? For me? I realize I have precious little to bargain with now that the true power dynamic is apparent, and our deal for you to leave my mind alone ends after we walk out that door.”
Vel shrugged.
“That depends. I feel like I have asked this a lot today, but what do you want, Aunty? Not just from this mission or the next few months. What do you want from this life?”
She did not hesitate for a millisecond.
“I want power and control. Control of my own life. I want wealth and safety, but without having to marry some fat old prick to get it.”
Vel thought about that briefly. She probably did not want him to further work on her mind ever again, but could she be brought into the fold without that? Fionne answered him without needing to be asked.
“I’d certainly choose to keep fucking you if given the choice, and I don’t mind having your daughter…”
She trailed off, and Vel took it upon himself to pick up the trail.
“Are you saying you’d be happy to join my harem?”
She snorted in amusement.
“Ah, men, of course you’ve built a harem. But yes, yes, I am saying that. In return, all I ask-“
Vel cut her off with a raised hand.
“There’s no need to negotiate anymore, Darling.”
He used the term of endearment from the vision without thinking about it, and to his surprise it made Fionne smile.
“All I want is you on my side. And if you are on mine, I am on yours. If you do not wish it, I will not alter your mind any further. Nor will I **** more children on you than you want, or **** anything on you for that matter. I do want you to command my fleets someday though.”
His aunt looked doubtful, looking at him like it was too good to be true. He was happy to give her all the time she needed, and eventually she closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
“I’m sorry, I know you have no reason to lie to me about this, but it’s just so hard to believe. With all this power you could chain me so easily, do what I have worked so hard to not let anyone do to me.”
Vel smiled at her again.
“I don’t want to.”
It was her turn to smile, and it was a beautiful sight.
“I… I actually believe you.”
She sounded touched, genuinely touched. This day just wouldn’t stop surprising him.
“I would be honored to be command your fleets, Nephew. If you ever have any. Supreme naval commander, that would be one of my life’s goals achieved.”
That was fortunate indeed.
“I do expect obedience in most things. I am not saying you are to be ****, but as one of my wives and my admiral, in some things you’d need to follow orders or instructions.”
She nodded.
“Of course. I am choosing to be both of those things; you’re not forcing either on me. I don’t resent there being a chain of command, but I resent being **** into one I did not agree too.”
Vel could respect that. And so what if this wife would be less mindless in her devotion and obedience, he had plenty of that to go around. This way he could make Fionne his while preserving what made her so special.
“The choice will always be yours; you’re right about that.”
She scoffed.
“Yes, then I will choose to align with the living god who’s also the only lover I’ve ever enjoyed, thank you very much.”
That earned her a chuckle from Vel, and she smiled at him again.
“You’ll really leave my mind alone? I can be quite the bitch, you know.”
Vel nodded.
“I don’t doubt that, but yes, I will. I’d prefer to leave you as you are. But, if you don’t mind, I’d like to ask you to open your mind to me, nonetheless. You have my word that I will not use that for anything nefarious. It will be invaluable for communication and understanding each other though.”
Fionne looked a bit hesitant but nodded very slowly.
“Okay, fine, I will trust you on this, Nephew.”
She did not ask how to go about opening her mind, Vel realized she had probably been taught how to do it back when she learned how to protect her mind. His aunt simply closed her eyes, and a look of intense focus came over here.
“There, it’s done.”
Closing his own eyes, Vel reached out for Fionne.
She had indeed lowered her defenses, and Vel gently slid into her. She gasped.
“That golden light, that’s you, isn’t it? It has to be.”
And as she spoke, Vel could see the final few lingering doubts being erased. At long last his aunt was fully on board, and fully his.
