Taking a leave of absence

At Ingrid's command one night Morgan was influenced to take a small break from ruling her kingdom.

"You know Morgan these "sessions" of ours only go for so long; especially since you spend most of the day working. Why not take a short break where we can have longer sessions all day long? Say for example at your summer retreat? Where there are hardly any guards and all the staff there are loyal to you? It might make it more exciting for you to get more people you can trust involved no?"

With that suggestion given Morgan easily caved and made preparations for her short break. After a few weeks after making sure that her kingdom wouldn't fall apart from her short break she finally left with Ingrid to her summer retreat.

Morgan had thought they would at least get to the retreat before they would begin but Ingrid on the other hand had other plans as soon as they had left the capital Ingrid had their coachman stop the carriage lying as if it were the queen's orders and had him return without them as they would find their own way to the queen's retreat.

"Wait how are we supposed to get there? We would have to find another carriage to get there as it takes days on foot?" Morgan asked Ingrid as she watched her private carriage return to the capital.

"Well that's part of the fun isn't it Morgan? Wouldn't it be more fun to have our "session" start now? Now strip!"

"I will not! There's nowhere to change out he-" Morgan begun to protest but was silenced when Ingrid gave her a harsh slap on the cheek.

"My you've gotten rather defiant. Didn't you say I have the final say during our sessions? Now strip and don't worry your pretty little head about anyone seeing you naked out here I have a change of attire for you anyway." Ingrid said with a mocking sneer on her face as she watched Morgan begin to meekly strip her attire.

Within minutes they had once again switched outfits.

Ingrid was now wearing one of Morgan's spare dresses without the crown.

Morgan was now wearing what Ingrid had prepared for her which was a village girls outfit which was a motly green dress with a faded brown apron over it, a brown shawl covered the top of Morgan's head hiding her very noticable silver hair from view. However Morgan was left barefoot as Ingrid had not given her any foot wear.

"You clean up quite nicely as a village girl my queen." Ingrid said with a mocking smile

"Where are my shoes Ingrid? Surely you don't mean to have me walk in the dirt?" Morgan asked.

"Oh I seem to have forgotten to get you some, not to worry we wouldn't be walking far there is a nearby village where we will be hiring a new carraige to take us the rest of the way." Ingrid said as she begun to walk away.

"Oh and you will be the one carrying our luggage." Ingrid called to Morgan who still had a stunned look on her face as she saw there were quite a few bags around them.
