Chapter 6
by WaterMage
What happens to them?
Washed up on an Island.
Lashiya opened her eyes to the roar of waves and the shriek of birds. She didn’t know how long she’d floated in the water before passing out, but she hadn’t really expected to wake up. But by some good fortune she’d been washed up on a beach. She got shakily to her feet, and looked around.
She was glad to see that Inira and Zirephis were both lying further down the sand. All three of them had been battered by their time in the sea, and their clothing was torn to rags, but they seemed to have escaped with nothing worse than bruises.
The beach was a wide expanse of golden sand. Beyond it was thick jungle, filled with the sounds of strange animals. It was like many islands in the southern part of the Thousand Isles, and Lashiya had no way of telling where they were. If they were lucky, the island would be one with an outpost of civilisation on, but more likely they’d be marooned there with nothing to do but hope a ship came along.
Lashiya shook her head. There was no point brooding on that now. She went to wake the others, and explained the situation.
“The Sea Witch will be looking for us, right?” Inira said hopefully.
“Probably,” Lashiya replied. “But they won’t find us.”
“She means they have no way of knowing where we’ve ended up,” Zirephis explained. The elf was, as always, cheerful and upbeat in even the grimmest situations.
“We need to head into the jungle,” Lashiya said firmly. “Our first priority is to secure fresh water, then food. And then we need to find out if there’s any way off this island.”
“Oooh, Captain,” Zirephis said with a grin, “Mmm… I love it when you get all commanding.”
Lashiya smiled back at her old friend. “Watch your tongue, mage, or I’ll have you flogged.”
“Promises, promises.”
The trio walked towards the jungle. Lashiya looked over her shoulder, and saw Inira had stopped in front of a large rock. She was also blushing, a habit of hers that Lashiya found charming and cute.
“What is it?” she asked, and Inira pointed at the rock. Looking closely, Lashiya saw that there were pictures painted on it. They had faded from the sun and weather, and were stylised in the way that the native tribess of the Thousand Isles favoured. But it was still possible to make out what they showed: men and women fucking madly – with each other, with beasts and with stranger creatures. Somehow, despite the blocky, abstract nature of the pictures, there was something compelling about them, and Lashiya felt her pussy begin to moisten.
“Zirephis,” she said, “you went to mage college, what do you make of these?”
“No idea, Captain. But I kind of want to try that one.” The elf added, pointing at one of the pictures.
Lashiya shook her head. “No point in hanging round here. Let’s head inland.”
The trio set off into the hot, humid jungle.
What do they find there?
