Sure enough, her boss started getting lots of letters saying that she should just become a nudist and get it over with. But the bottom line is there are a few million people in this city; she would need at least that many to get full approval. She can get away with it as long as she's doing it for work reasons, but if not, it could lead to some serious problems. Either way, Lucy got a promotion in her sixth week. She was no longer on the bottom floor; she was now on the second, which was a big bonus. Now she didn't have to worry about rent nearly as much. Normally, it would take at least two months behind because she hadn't actually paid her rent yet. All this time, she's been buying food; she doesn't even have money to buy her own clothes anymore. Things were hard for her not being part of a guild. The bottom line was Lucy was running out of time, and she knew it! Lucy never thought she would gain her popularity through her body, but not like this. She didn't want to do it naked; that wasn't part of the plan at all. She wanted to do it professionally and excellently, just like Mirajane did in the past. But now it was blown out the window, quite literally. Now Lucy had just enough money to pay for food, at least. Up until now, she's been going through some hard times; people had to give her food until now. It wasn't much, but it was a start.

Then finally, she read through the ninth book. Now she was flat-out terrified, fearing the worst because the odds of it being screwed over were 90% likely. One day, she was **** to take an all-day video of herself. Of course, she was terrified of what the results would actually be, so she went home and started the video. The next day, she was terrified; that would be an understatement. She turned it on and checked it, and sure enough, her socks and shoes and her shorts completely vanished, leaving her underwear and belt behind. "Well, it could be worse, I guess," said Lucy. She got ready for the day and everything, talking to the video, and went to work, trying to cover her lower half in case anyone saw her in her underwear. But little did she know, her clothes were about to disappear again. Now she was just wearing a white bra and a pair of underwear; her belt was still there, of course.

She got some breakfast on the way to work, but when she paid, her bra completely vanished right there in the middle of public, and the man didn't even want her to pay; he just told her to take the food and go. "Huh, why in the world is he giving it to me for free?" said Lucy. Of course, she got some drinks later, and another one said the same thing, but this time her panties completely vanished, leaving her completely nude in the middle of the street. People were giving her strange looks, wondering what she was doing. "What's going on? Is this some kind of event?" Lucy, of course, thought they were talking about her being in her underwear, but that was no longer the case.

Then, all of a sudden, when she was almost there, one of her socks started to reappear on her feet, but she was too distracted by the crowd to notice. Then the second sock reappeared, leaving her just walking around with a belt, her battle equipment, and a pair of socks. By the third mile, a shoe appeared on her foot, which made her look even weirder than normal. But when she arrived at work, she had her socks and shoes on, making it look like she enjoyed walking around naked, which made an impression on everyone who worked there. Of course, everyone was happy to see her, a little too happy. "Wait a minute, what's going on?" said Lucy.

Lucy was about to make her first impression of the day; today was the Grand Magic Games, and Lucy was supposed to show herself to everyone. But the only thing was she was wearing, well, a pair of socks, shoes, and a belt. "Nice outfit," said her boss. Technically, he was not her boss, but it worked all the same. "Are you sure you want to be going public looking like that? You not being clothed ever again will go a lot higher," said her boss. "Wait, what?" said Lucy, then looked at herself again. She screeched out because she was practically naked for all the world to see. "I don't get it; it doesn't happen all at once, not usually. Why is today different?" said Lucy. "Not today; why now of all days?" said Lucy?! "Yeah, I'm starting to think you're doing this on purpose," said her boss. "Not that it matters; it starts tonight anyway," said her boss. "You're lucky no one will be able to see you today," said her boss.

Lucy was hoping for her clothes to reappear during the day, but it didn't; quite the opposite. She was stuck like that all day, trying to cover her naked body. She was even allowed to turn off her camera, so now she was stuck in a parallel place, exposing her body to the world to see. But luckily for her, when nighttime came and the whole games started, they stopped looking at her and started watching the games. "Can this get any worse?" said Lucy. "I'm almost a nudist now," said Lucy. "I'm definitely giving people the wrong idea now," said Lucy. As soon as Lucy looked to her side, she saw a bunch of people with notes and letters just for her, and the people that were supporting her. They all said the same thing: "Why bother even wearing clothes at all?" They were voting for her to be naked. She was even more paranoid now.
