Foursomes

"What's up? Are we having a meeting?" Rebecca tried to hide her agitation as she was led back to the lounge area by Cassie and Barbie before she had gotten a chance to transform anyone else. The only consolation was that her "wife" was there waiting for her with a warm smile and an affectionate hug.

"Chantelle wants us to meet about the Rebecca situation" Sophie explained "Can you believe I shared a room with her last night? It's a miracle I'm still human"

"Yeah, maybe her magical charge was low or something!" Rebecca replied. hugging Sophie even tighter "It's such a scary thought though, I'm not letting you out of my sight now, that's for sure!"

"Okay everyone!" Chantelle was about as serious as anyone had ever seen her. She was flanked at the front of the room by Cassie and Mel, who hadn't yet been relieved of her duties as head of the witches "So, for anyone who hasn't heard. Rebecca entered the mansion as Maggie last night. The real Maggie was, and unfortunately still is, a mouse. To make matters worse, fake Maggie has seemingly disappeared without a trace, which leads me to believe that Rebecca is now one of us, here in this meeting"

There were gasps around the room as the glitches began to eye each other up nervously. There were no signs at all that anyone was not themselves. The thought that the evil witch was among them was a truly disturbing revelation. Rebecca was a good enough actor to look as shocked as anyone, though more than anything she couldn't believe the stroke of luck she had morphing into Abigail moments before Noelle's unexpected return.

"This is a literal witch hunt" Cassie added "But until we can figure this out, we have to take some precautions. The top priority has to be keeping everyone safe."

"We believe the person currently being imitated by Rebecca would have unfortunately already been transformed by her" Chantelle took over again "No doubt her plan now will be to isolate and transform the rest of us, one by one. That will also give her the opportunity to morph into different glitches, which will make finding her even harder"

"Sophie got majorly lucky last night, but the fact of the matter is one of us will be rooming with a witch tonight and it might not go so well" Cassie laid bare the grim reality of the situation "Therefore, we have a plan, and it might seem like a lot to ask, but we have to stick to it religiously"

"We are going to pair up the couples" Chantelle went on "There will be three fours and two fives. April and I will split up and complete the fives, since we aren't romantically a couple and we don't want to separate those. You will not just room in your fours, you will remain together all day every day until Rebecca has been identified. You will shower together, when one of you goes to the toilet the rest of the group will wait outside. Nobody can get isolated under any circumstances"

Now Rebecca was starting to get frustrated. Why did Chantelle have to be so fucking smart? How was she supposed to get around this new rule and do what she had actually come here for? She would just have to settle for repeatedly fucking Sophie, which was a pretty good consolation even if she wouldn't have her all to herself anymore.

"We'll be picking the couples by random draw" Melanie spoke for the first time in a leadership capacity "We don't want Rebecca having any say in who she gets to room with. And as far as anyone knows, Cassie Chantelle or I could be Rebecca - God, what a horrible thought - so we can't choose either"

"This is like Traitors" Sophie nudged Rebecca with a smile.

"We have all the couples names written out here on scraps of paper. It's a shame we don't have a hat to pull them out of" Cassie pondered.

"Here, use mine!"

Rebecca ran to the front of the room and handed Abigail's hat to Cassie, who then passed it to Chantelle who flipped it over and mixed the names up in it, before announcing that for each of the couples Cassie would draw the first pair and Melanie the second.

"This is literally like the FA cup!" Tania laughed. She did not look so amused when the first grouping came out - she and Lexie were with the twins "Oh, for fuck's sake, draw again!"

"No redraws and absolutely no swapping!" Chantelle decreed before the next couple were pulled - Laura and Liv were with Noelle, Amanda and Maggie the mouse.

"We get the cat lady! No redraws, no swapping!" Laura rubbed her hands gleefully while Liv folded her arms and let out a sigh.

Rebecca found herself and Sophie in the third group with Chelsea and Nari.

"My goodness that's a cute group!" Barbie couldn't stop herself from squealing.

She and Cass were drawn next, alongside Tina and Anna, leaving James and Mel with Lucy and Leilaini. Finally Chantelle and April were drawn into groups - Chantelle landed with Barbie's lot while April got the unenviable task of mediating between Lexie, Tania and the twins.

"Okay, those are the groups" Melanie concluded "I'm really sorry we have to do this but it is only a temporary measure. And who knows, it might even be fun!"
