Fight!

Screw that – no one captures your heroine but you!

With a crazy surge of adrenaline, you bum rush the 3rd gunman, tackling him to the floor before he can get a shot off. Wonder Woman turns, a look of surprise on her face at the sight of you coming to her defense. She’s noticeably dazed and a little unsteady on her feet, so she doesn’t notice when the first man tags her again with the taser/stun gun/whatever.

The gunman is bigger than you and solid muscle, but you caught him by surprise and slammed his head into the floor when you went down so he’s dazed too. You grab the rifle out of his hands, roll off him, and take a shot at the man tasering Diana. You hit him pretty solidly and he slams backwards through the drywall. Diana leans against the wall to catch her breath and looks to see what happened to Taser Guy. Behind her you see that the 2nd gunman has picked up his rifle again, but with Diana in the way you don’t have a shot at him. He fires and this time Diana doesn’t get her bracelets up in time. The energy beam slams into her like a freight train, spinning her around like a drunk ballerina before she collapses to the floor.

You shoot at Gunman #2 and miss, but he’s **** to dive into the bathroom for cover. You see the businesswoman getting back up – holy shit that’s Veronica Fucking Cale the big tech CEO! – and decide maybe you better shoot her too.

But before you can squeeze the trigger something hard and heavy hits you in the back of your head. Through the stars you realize the gunman you had tackled is back in the fight and raising his baton for another strike. You manage to block it with the rifle, but before you can retaliate he drops on top of you, driving his knee into your solar plexus. Your ability to think follows your ability to breathe out the window, and you’re unable to stop him as he wrestles the rifle away from you. You roll away from him, giving you a view of Wonder Woman as she struggles up to her knees only to have Veronica Cale spray an entire canister of gas directly into her mouth and nose. The Amazon chokes and falls back down, just as out of the corner of your eye you see a rifle butt…
