How's your day going?
A favor for Vanessa
The door to May's office closed with a soft yet definitive click. The already charged air became oppressive. Vanessa did not sit down. She leaned against May's desk, crossing her arms. Her gaze, cold and calculating, settled on Magi as if evaluating an instrument.
"May, I need to de-stress," Vanessa said, without preamble. "The investor meeting was a **** of testosterone and ego. I've come to collect my favor."
May didn't seem surprised. She nodded slowly, as if she had been expecting this claim.
"Of course, Vanessa. It's always a pleasure to... compensate you." Her voice was neutral, professional.
Vanessa smiled, a thin, cruel curve on her lips.
"Your new secretary has an innocent mouth. I wonder if that translates to diligence."
Magi felt her legs weaken. She immediately understood what was being insinuated. The favor wasn't a photoshoot. It was something much more direct, more humiliating.
"Magi is very diligent," May responded, looking intently at Magi, conveying a silent command. "Isn't that right, Magi?"
"Ma'am, I..." Magi stammered, searching for an escape that she knew didn't exist.
"Silence," May cut in, her voice like a whip. "And obey. Miss Vanessa has needs. And we have a debt."
Vanessa settled into May's leather armchair, the one behind the desk. She leaned back with an air of proprietorship.
"I don't have all day, darling. Kneel. Right there, on the carpet. It's plush enough."
Magi looked at May, pleadingly, but only found an iron gaze. This was part of the job. An unwritten "extra" in the contract. With her heart pounding in her chest, she knelt on the thick carpet, feeling the tight pencil skirt strain over her thighs to its limit.
Vanessa didn't bother to fully unbuckle her pants. Just enough. Her expression was not one of lust, but of pure dominance, of cruel curiosity.
"Go on. Show me that diligence May touts so much."
Magi, with trembling hands, obeyed. Every movement was mechanical, learned from the previous time with May, but now infinitely more shameful because it was a stranger, a client. She closed her eyes, trying to disconnect, but Vanessa's expensive perfume, the creak of the leather armchair, May's impassive gaze from her seat—everything kept her anchored to the horrible reality.
"Yes, just like that," Vanessa murmured, her voice hoarse with satisfaction. "May, you were right. She's a gem. She learned fast."
May didn't respond. She just watched, arms crossed, like a director supervising a performance. The price of keeping Vanessa happy, of securing her funding, was being paid in real-time on the floor of her office.
When it was over, Vanessa composed herself elegantly, as if she had just adjusted a glove.
"Excellent. I feel much better." She stood up and walked toward the door. "May, we'll talk about the donation later. Magi..." she added, casting one last look at her, "wash that little mouth before you attend to another client. Not everyone appreciates the same flavor."
She left, leaving behind a heavy silence and the smell of sex and power.
Magi remained kneeling, unable to move, shame and disgust knotting in her throat.
"Get up," May commanded, her voice cold. "And go clean yourself up. Then finish the reports. Work doesn't wait."
Magi, head bowed and the taste of humiliation still in her mouth, returned to her desk. She barely dared to look at May, who was already engrossed in a call, her voice once again that of a professional executive. The outside world would never know what had just happened. The office was their private stage, a place where power was negotiated in the most twisted ways.
"...Yes, Vanessa, I already sent the report. It was just a small typo. It's corrected now," May said with a **** smile. Magi shivered when she heard the name.
May hung up the phone and leaned back in her chair, staring at her. "Magi, I have to go. There's a last-minute thing I can't delegate." She paused, her gaze inscrutable. "It's for the event tonight."
What is the event?

Under the Surface
Chronicle of a Humiliation
Magi is a solitary and reserved young woman who prefers the company of books to people's company. With her untamable black hair, faint freckles, and loose-fitting clothes, she projects an image of practicality and comfort. Her large green eyes, though curious, avoid eye contact, revealing her introverted nature. Despite her serene appearance, a deep disquiet haunts her, anticipating an imminent and inevitable change that threatens to shatter the fragile balance of her quiet life.
