Head on downstairs, see what she wants

You hop up from your game system and hurry on downstairs to see why she is calling. Overall, the house is small but not cramped. The living room is a quaint area furinished by a table, some bookshelfs, and a large T.V. It also has an area sectioned off to act as the kitchen. Your mother is right outside of the kitchen, wearing a plain gold top and a pink skirt cut off at the knees.

"Ah, Red, there you are!" She smiles. "As you know, today is a very special day for you! I already told the Pokemon Proffessor, and he said he wants to see you at his lab today."
"I'm so happy for you, Red, just to think you're ready to take on the world..."

Her face wanders off into a reminiscence. "Well, have fun, and don't forget to visit!"

You turn to the door and exit into the nice, quaint city of Pallet Town.
