A Second Date?

*Harley's P.O.V.*

It's the morning of Mistah S. and mine second date. I'm currently standing outside of WayneTech waiting on the big oaf. I decided to wear the same outfit I was wearing the first time we met. The only differences is this time I'm wearing my glasses and have my hair pulled back into a ponytail.

I'm not waiting long before I hear the familiar sounds of a beastly V8 engine quickly approaching. I look down at my watch and see it's fifteen minutes to eight. I'm glad I got ready early, because something told me Mistah S. would be here early. A few minutes later the color changing Pontiac GTO I call "The Beast" is pulling into the parking lot. As the car pulls up to where I'm at I see a big smile on Mistah S's face.

He stops the car and gets out and walks over to me. As he walks over to me I notice that he has his hands behind his back. But, before I can question it, Mistah S. reaches both arms out for me. I'm beginning to think he is going to pull me in for our first kiss, so I close my eyes and prepare myself to feel his lips smash against mine. But, it doesn't happen and I'm left feeling dumbfounded as to why it didn't happen. Just as I'm about to open my eyes to question what's going on. I feel a blindfold being placed on me and I hear him tell me.

"Don't touch the blindfold, make sure you leave it on, and NO PEEKING!!! I'll tell you when you can take it off.".

"Okay, Puddin!! I leave the blindfold on. I promise I'll be a good gurl for you!!".

Now my mind is racing trying to figure out what Mistah S. has planned for our second date.

Mistah S. helps me get into the car. He helps me fasten my seat belt and then closes my door. I hear the rocks crunch underneath his feet as he approaches the driver's side. He quickly gets into the car. I hear him close his door and fasten his seat belt. He puts the car into gear and we take off for parts unknown.

*Steele's P.O.V.*

I'm driving towards WayneTech to pick up Harley for our second date. I really hope she likes what I have planned. The sound of the big V8 and loud side mounted exhausts is almost enough to drown out the sound system that is currently playing "Big Dawgs" by Hanumankind inside the car that Harley now affectionately calls "The Beast".

It's not much longer and I'm pulling into the parking lot at WayneTech. I'm about fifteen minutes early to pick Harley up. But, I couldn't wait to see her any longer.

As I get closer, I'm surprised to see my chaotic firecracker standing there in her outfit that I first met her in. Her black leather boots, the red and black leather pants, the unzipped red and black leather jacket that loosely hung open over the exact same white crop top. The major difference is this time she has her hair in a ponytail and is wearing her glasses. It puts a big smile on my face seeing the weird juxtaposition of Harley Quinn the criminal and Dr. Harley Quinn the psychiatrist/lab assistant and friend.

I park the car and get out and walk over to her. I'm so nervous, that I purposely keep my hands behind my back. That way Harley doesn't see how badly my hands are shaking, or the blindfold that is balled up in my left hand.

I'm now standing in front of Harley and before I lose my nerve, I reach out both arms, although I wish it was to pull her in and kiss her, sadly it isn't for that reason. Ironically enough, I can tell she must be thinking the same thing, because she instinctively closes her eyes and tilts her head up towards me, which makes what I'm about to do a little easier.

I quickly put the blindfold on her before she can fully open her eyes, though I can tell she is slightly disappointed that our first kiss didn't happen. Truth be told, so am I!! Hopefully, though, that will make that first kiss even more special when it does happen!

I tell her not to touch the blindfold, and NO PEEKING, and I will let her know when she can remove it. Harley promises me that she will leave it on and be a "good gurl". I quickly help her into the car and fasten her seat belt, and close her door. I quickly walk over to the driver's side and open the door and get into "The Beast". I close the door and fasten my seat belt and put the car into gear. We pull out of the parking lot heading out of Gotham City towards the place where our second date is to take place.

As I continue to drive towards our destination, I begin to worry that she isn't going to like what I have planned for us. I can tell I've already disappointed her by not kissing her, now I'm getting the feeling that this date is now going to be a bigger disappointment to her.

While I'm anxiously overthinking everything I can hear Harley singing along to a song that I can barely hear over my thoughts on the radio. Hearing her helps calm my nerves a little bit, although it doesn't get rid of them completely!

About an hour later, I pull "The Beast" up to our destination and turn him off. I undo my seat belt and open the door and get out of the car. I close the door and quickly walk over to the passenger side to help Harley out of the car. Once she is out of the car and standing somewhat comfortably, I tell her she can remove the blindfold.

Harley slowly removes the blindfold allowing her eyes to readjust to the sunlight. She blinks a few times and I hear a happy squeal come from her. The next thing I notice is a huge smile on her beautiful face.
