Distracted

You get home and are greeted by your dogs once again.

You let them out in back and get started on dinner. You glance at your neighbors’ house and see they’re in the kitchen as well. Your naked neighbor (though he was clothed in a sweater and jeans) and lady partner inside. You watched them chat and move about the kitchen, preparing dinner.

Your boyfriend gets home and you find yourselves doing the same. You sit down for dinner and chat about your days before playing a board game.

He heads downstairs to work out while you clean up the dishes. You glance at the neighbors’ and see they’re not at their table or their previous positions. You continue to clear dishes and head to your sink.
