Exit the cave and run towards the noise

Whatever that scream was, it can't have been good. You run towards the mouth of the cave and towards the noise to check it out.

You soon stumble upon the source of the scream. A female Pikachu, anthropomorphic like you, stands with her back against a large rock face, with a seemingly conconscious Kirlia in her arms. Looming over her is a large mass of writhing blue vines, presumably a Tangela.

The Pikachu turns her head towards you. "Y-you there! Please! Help!" She screams in terror. As she does, the Tangela turns to face you, staring directly at you with its glowing red eyes... eyes you're pretty sure Tangela don't normally have.
