Check With the App

As you and David continue your walk home along Putney High Street, the evening shoppers create a perfect distraction. When David pauses to glance at a display in a shop window, you seize the opportunity, stepping slightly behind him and pulling out the glowing pink phone from your clutch.

"Need to check something," you murmur, angling your body away as you swipe open the Perfect Girlfriend App.

Instantly, the screen fills with Becky's animated face, her cartoon blonde ponytail bouncing with excitement as she notices your attention.

"There's my favorite little transformation project!" she squeals, her voice thankfully contained in your earbuds. "OMG, you were sooooo naughty in that office today! Total boss babe move getting frisky with the executive! That earned you major points!"

You glance nervously at David, but he's still examining the store display, giving you a moment of privacy.

"Just checking my return points," you whisper. "How many more do I need?"

Becky's digital eyes widen with exaggerated surprise. "Keeping count, are we? That's adorable!" She pouts playfully. "You've got 67 points, sweetie. Only 33 more to go until you can change back." Her animated eyes narrow slightly. "If that's really what you want..."

A notification banner slides across the top of the screen: "NEW TASKS UNLOCK AT MIDNIGHT! Theme: Night In/Night Out - Your Choice!"

Below that, another message flashes: "SPECIAL OFFER! Spin the Transformation Wheel twice for the price of one! Limited time only!"

"What do you mean 'if that's what I want'?" you ask, voice barely above a whisper.

Becky giggles, the sound tinkling like wind chimes. "Oh nothing, babes! Just noticing how quickly you're adapting. Those multiple orgasms you gave Clara? That wasn't Matt's skill set, was it?" She winks exaggeratedly. "Some parts of Mia are starting to feel pretty natural, aren't they?"

Before you can respond, David turns back toward you. You quickly lock the screen and slip the phone into your clutch.

"Everything okay?" he asks, noticing your flushed cheeks.

"Yeah, just... checking something," you reply, forcing a casual smile. "Let's get home. I need to get ready for tonight."

As you continue walking, the app's words echo in your mind. Some parts of being Mia do feel natural now—the way you move, the confidence you feel in your new body, the pleasure you experienced with Clara. The thought is both thrilling and terrifying.
