Dafne Breaks With Mark

I woke up a little early due to the constant phone calls. Irritated, I decided to get ready to go to college, completely ignoring him. After all, I already knew who he was.

"That bastard Mark, what I said last night wasn't enough for him," he growled as he was outside the house.

Arriving at the university, I saw more than 20 messages. It was more than clear that this idiot doesn't listen to reason. I didn't want to give him the pleasure of hearing my voice; I preferred to text him with all the resentment in my soul.

"I ALREADY TOLD YOU, OUR RELATIONSHIP IS OVER, SO GET OUT OF MY LIFE"

With that, I put my phone on silent for the rest of the day. I was sick of hearing his voice and tired of having him around. Fortunately for me, I found someone I could talk to about what had happened last night at the entrance...

I had to push Mark's clumsy body, as he froze like a deer in the road after I'd yelled at him. Once he regained movement, the idiot started talking mockingly, thinking I was joking.

"Oh, I get it, it's another game. ****?" he said with a **** smile.

I was sorely mistaken if I thought I'd submit to his impulses like a cheap whore.

"Do you think I'm going to give away my precious body to a moron like you?" I said bluntly.

His smile instantly faded, replaced by a frown.

“But… I thought you and I were going to… you know.”

“You thought? Hehehe, it's more than obvious that's not your thing. I came with you to have a little fun, but nothing more.”

You could see on his face how his little brain couldn't fully comprehend my words.

“But… but Dafne, you're my girl… We're boyfriend and girlfriend!”

That last word drove me crazy again, that word that bound us intimately, a word that kept me tied to that sack of testosterone. I still didn't understand how I let that word be next to our names, although it was something that could be remedied.

“Listen to me very carefully, I won't be your girl tonight or ever… WE'RE DONE!”

“That's how I ended my useless relationship with Mark, but his tiny brain doesn't understand it… but what can you expect from someone whose ultimate goal is to run around with a ridiculous ball and beat up his opponents? He's a mere caveman.” I said, waving an invisible club.

I finished my story and leaned against the wall, Kimberly and Cilia listening to every word very carefully on either side of me. They both supported my decision to break up with Mark.

“I'm with you; that guy has nothing up there,” Kimberly said.

“I still don't know how you stayed with that guy for so long. I would have sent him flying a long time ago,” Cilia went even further.

“Actually, I was only with him for his popularity, but in the end, even that's not worth it,” I said sincerely.

After all, Mark was just muscle without a shred of intellect or wit. The overvaluation of his supposed virtues led him to believe he was the last Coca-Cola in the desert. But I knew very well that the world didn't revolve around him and that there were better matches out there than him.

“You need to find someone different than Mark, less rude and much smarter. Someone who values knowledge over strength,” Kimberly encouraged me, patting me on the back.

“You’re absolutely right, Kim. I’m sure there are better guys than that behemoth.” This time, Cilia did the same.

“Yes, that’s what I’ll do.”

During classes, I began to observe the entire male population at the university; most of them looked tall, strong, and handsome. I quickly ruled out all of them; I was looking for a role model other than the stereotypical alpha male, one I wouldn’t find in the hallways.

As if my mind had been working at the level of a supercomputer, I deduced the boy who possessed all those characteristics... HE WAS THE PERFECT CANDIDATE!

“Very well, and I know where to find him.”

During recess, I quickly went to the library. It wasn’t at all a surprise to find him there; after all, that place had always been the beloved sanctuary of my ideal boyfriend. I was somewhat hidden behind the entrance, spying quite carefully on my target.

He was deeply engrossed in reading a book with mountains waiting to be read, absorbed in his surroundings, using all his energy to devour knowledge.

A true know-it-all in his natural habitat!

I leaned a little closer to observe him better. He didn't even notice my presence, so distracted was he.

A disheveled red hair was the first thing that stood out, strangely matching his red and green striped shirt. His body was the complete opposite of Mark's, extremely thin, far from those muscular troglodytes, with large horn-rimmed glasses and prominent front teeth.

My heart started beating fast, and a pleasant wetness spread between my legs. I was so lost in staring at him that I couldn't help but let out a soft moan. Just looking at that stereotypical nerd easily aroused my lust, as well as a great need to be near HIM.

"Mmmh... I'm coming for you."

Like a lioness on the prowl, I threw myself straight at that boy. There was no doubt in my mind. I had every intention of seducing that exemplar of wisdom. That man would be mine no matter what, and I would use my hot body to achieve it.
