"You sure you want this?" Rias finally asked after several moments of consideration. "Devils were technically your enemies for your whole life..."

Xenovia hesitated at that. "... it's true, I was taught that they were enemies of God by nature... But... If God is dead, then my life was basically a waste. And the fact that he could die... It means he was fallible, doesn't it? Not perfect. So even if something is against his will, that doesn't necessarily mean evil... And I still believe he loved all of his creations, even the wayward ones. I'll still try to honor his memory, even as a Devil, and living my life as I see fit from now on."

Rias nodded, and produced a Knight piece. "In that case, I accept your request. I still have a Knight and Rook piece available, and I think you're best suited to be a Knight. Any arguments?" Xenovia shook her head, also agreeing that a Knight piece suited her better than a Rook.

Rias proceeded to do the ritual for transferring the Knight Piece into Xenovia, completing her transformation into a Devil of her Peerage. When it was done, Issei walked up behind her, and patted her on the back. "Welcome to the Peerage, Xenovia. How do you feel?" he asked her.

"... different. But... Good in a way," she replied, turning towards Issei. Then, in what was clearly an attempt to act cute, she put her hands together, and tilted her head as she held them near it. "I look for to working with you, Issei-kun," she stated, but her serious expression didn't change at all, ruining the effect.

Issei was a bit off put by the display. "...trying to act cute doesn't really work with a serious expression like that..." he told her with a nervous chuckle, and she deflated slightly.

"Ah, sorry, I was trying to imitate Irina..." she confessed. "...guess I can't pull it off..."

Raynare was sniggering at that, and said, "If you want, I can try to teach you some basics of acting. I don't think it would suit you, but who knows? You might get something out of it. If nothing else, keep practicing the cute act..."

"I'll consider it," Xenovia replied with a nod.

"Right then, let's get you started!" Rias clapped her hands enthusiastically. "I got some Devil contract forms for you to start passing out!"

"Eh? Shouldn't I officially meet the Peerage as a member or something first?" Xenovia questioned Rias, a bit more used to ceremony.

Rias snorted. "You already did meet them, and we can inform them about you joining later. They're all out on contracts anyway. They should be back by the time you're done. No sense wasting time, and I never was one for overly formal ceremony anyway." She then turned towards Issei. "How about you accompany her, and make sure she finds some folks likely to be interested in making a contract with us?"

Issei paused, wondering why Rias was sending him to assist Xenovia, when he had handled this own phase of his initiation himself. Before he could open his mouth to voice this thought though, Rias gave him a wink when Xenovia was looking over the stack of forms. It clicked what she was up to. Given she was his Sex Genie, she was helping set him up. "...oh, gotcha," he grinned, grabbing his bag and putting some of the forms into it. While handing them out was her job, no reason he couldn't help her carry them. There were a lot after all.

"Alright then, I am in your care, Issei-kun," Xenovia told him, making another attempt at the cute routine.

"Stop that! It's disconcerting!" Issei protested as they walked out.
