"That sounds like a great idea to me! Mind you, becoming an Arrancar stabilizes us quite a bit, reduces the endless hunger we feel, but even then, we do still need to... well, eat," Nel flushed, scratching at her mask. "Having a substitute would be of great help!"

"Actually, can you eat normal human food at all?" Orihime asked Nel, tilting her head curiously.

"Oh yes, we can, but it does nothing for Hollows, at least in terms of our power. It's just a nice thing to do if we get the chance..." Nel replied.

"Cool, maybe I could whip something up for you!" Orihime grinned, and Rukia grimaced, hoping Nel didn't bring up-

"Actually I was warned about your cooking by Ms. Rukia..." Nel replied cheerfully. "But honestly... I eat Ceros, I doubt a few odd mixes would offend my palate," she added. Her Hollow based form was a goat, after all. Animals notorious for essentially being living garbage disposals. She then turned towards Hachi out of curiousity. "So... what is the Visored's stake in the war?"

Hachi replied, "We wish for **** against Aizen. He's the one ultimately responsible for our exile from Soul Society when he used us for his Hollowfication experiments. We're not exactly fond of Soul Society either, but we despise Aizen."

Nel grimaced. "****, huh... A reason to fight at least. Not a particularly good one... but a reason nonetheless," she stated.

Hachi chuckled genially, not holding that perspective against her. She didn't understand their need for ****, the depth of Aizen's betrayal to them, but he also knew that **** wasn't a particularly healthy motivation either, so he took Nel's words in stride.

"So, you wanna train a bit?" Nel suddenly asked Ichigo.

"You asking for a spar?" he asked her, surprised, given she herself admitted that she didn't like fighting.

"Not exactly," Nel replied. "I'm thinking I could serve as target practice if you want to practice Ceros! You have Hollow Powers, right? Do you know how to form a Cero? And don't worry, even if you hit me, I'll be fine! Like I said, Ceros don't work on me! It'll be a fun game that will also be good training!"

Ichigo paused. Trying to hit a comrade with a Cero, even during training, would normally be a bit much for him. But given that she claimed immunity to that dreaded attack, it actually sounded like a good bit of training. Could be fun too.
