Once Bare a Time..

Lena had arrived at the studio with the casual confidence of someone chasing easy money. A few hours of posing for pictures and she’d be out, pocketing a decent pay check and heading home with minimal fuss. Her long, dark brown hair was loosely tied back in a messy ponytail, strands falling around her soft hazel eyes as she stepped inside, scanning the studio with curiosity.

The space smelled faintly of paint and powder, lights angled carefully over the pristine backdrops. Lena adjusted the hem of her sweater nervously, fingers brushing against her jeans’ belt, while the echo of her sneakers on the floor made her suddenly aware of the quiet.

Then she saw her the Model, tall, striking, with long blond hair cascading over her shoulders and a sly, teasing smile playing across her lips. Lena’s stomach fluttered unexpectedly.

“Ah, you must be Lena,” the Model purred, her voice smooth and teasing, eyes scanning Lena like she were a puzzle waiting to be solved. She stepped forward, brushing a hand lightly against Lena’s arm as if to guide her. “Chasing easy money, huh? Or just curious what it’s like to be in front of the camera?”

Lena swallowed hard, trying to mask the nervous flicker in her chest. “Um, a little of both, I guess,” she replied, forcing a smile.
