"I think I can, yes. Ms. Nel, mind standing still?" Orihime nodded, and Nel also nodded, albeit more energetically. Orihime placed her hands on the crack of the mask, and closed her eyes, concentrating as he isolated the crack in the mask from the rest of her. "I Reject," she stated, and the crack glowed.

"...you know, sometimes I think her powers are rather underutilized," Rukia remarked. "She could probably solve a lot more problems than we might think if she can just Reject the root issue."

Ichigo nodded idly. "Yeah, maybe," he agreed, and Rukia leaned in mischievously.

"She'd make a wonderful addition to the harem... think about it, she's hot as hell, and not only that, she also really has the hots for you..." she whispered, and Ichigo turned red and spluttered, before biting back an exclamation, not wanting to draw attention to the situation.

Orihime retracted her hands from Nel's head, and sure enough, the damage to the mask was now completely gone, though Nel asked for the scar to remain, purely for aesthetic. "How does that feel?" Orihime asked Nel as she reached up and felt the mask.

"...yeah, I can think so much more clearly now!" Nel noted, grinning like a fool, and Ichigo noted that she wasn't speaking in the third person anymore. "In fact... I think I'm starting to remember things... and I'm feeling... good!"

"Remembering things?" Ichigo blinked, rather confused, and Rukia shrugged.

"Given the damage to her mask, amnesia shouldn't have been a surprise, actually..." Rukia stated, but before they could discuss further, Nel suddenly let out a cry as she was surrounded in Reishi, but not a pained one, more overwhelmed. Orihime hastily backed up, looking nervous.

"Whoa, Nel, are you-" Ichigo started to ask, before pink smoke exploded out from Nel. "...shit... did she just explode!?" Ichigo asked in a panic, but Rukia shook her head.

"No, dummy, we can still feel her power if you paid attention," she admonished him. They stared at the smoke, and Ichigo heard footsteps as a shadow from within the cloud approached the edge of it. The figure stepped out. It was Nel. Only... considerably different. She had had the appearance of someone who was barely an adult before, but what stood before them was a much more mature looking woman. Her formerly modest curves had flared out, giving way to a much more voluptous build, she was taller, and her hair was longer. Furthermore, the sack cloth she had been wearing before had torn, though conveniently formed a makeshift bra and skirt, only baring her midriff.

But probably the most striking change was her expression, the look in her eyes. There was a certain... seriousness, albeit of a serene sort that hinted at an inner peace. She blinked and started looking herself over. Ichigo gaped as Rukia barely held back from drooling. Dodonchaka and Pesche immediately both dropped to a knee and inclined their heads.

"...well, this is quite the development," Hachi, who had been watching nearby as a passive observer, stated mildly, though subtly on guard, certain that everyone here could take her if need be.
