Chapter 3 by SpreadHerBuns

You wake up. Who are you?

Zorgoth the Destroyer, data-entry specialist

In your dream, you encounter female presence. You are feeling calm, but at the same time nervous. The presence is not malicious or intrusive. She has no shape or concrete form at first. She remains at your side encouraging you to submerge yourself in the dream, deeper than before.

Eventually, the mysterious female begins to speak to you, with a sweet voice.

"You are soon to enter another reality.

One that is very different from your own. In the life you know, you were trained since adolescence to defecate in the bowl of a chair-like machine, that would carry your waste away from your clean societies.

These machines are kept in private bathrooms within homes or in cubicles and separated by gender in a public building.

This you know.

But on this night, you journey elsewhere. When you wake from this dream, you will find yourself in a reality where people poop..."

The being directed her attention into the middle distance ahead of you and extended a formless appendage to clear away the dream's mists.

"...With the help of sexual release."

A new world then unfolded before you as you felt your consciousness being pulled away from the realm of dreams and mist and into the waking daylight.

You awaken in a bed that looks like yours

in an apartment that looks like yours

with a view that looks like the one you left behind when you went to sleep.

As your head clears, you know things again. You can't be sure if they are the memories you've always had or new ones given to you by a woman who defies description. You are a data clerk at a firm. Your name is Brendan, but that's not what they call you.

As you rise from your mattress, holding your head with one hand, you notice a stain on the mattress you could swear was new. A large brown spot that you couldn't remember an explanation for.

Your kitchen is where it always has been... or perhaps just where you knew it would be.

Coffee helps put your head on straight.

It's Monday. You're supposed to go in to the office today, but you've got plenty of sick days. No one would blame you if you woke up feeling like you just couldn't cut it today...

How do you start your day?
