There was a small explosion in the underground area, and Ichigo whipped his head towards it. "What was that?" he asked.

"Ah, those two are going another round," Urahara said cheerfully.

""Those two?" Wait a minute, don't change the subject!" Ichigo shouted at Urahara, who shrugged.

"Hey, you're the one who asked, and it's not like I timed that. But just to get it out of the way, Sado also came to ask for training, so I'm having him spar against Renji's Bankai," Urahara noted.

"...okay fine, yeah, I did ask," Ichigo acknowledged. "Now, on the subject of Orihime?"

"Well, her powers are quite impressive, and can manipulate reality in ways that are tricky to replicate," Urahara admitted. "It's because of that I don't want her on the front lines. If Aizen gets ahold of her, he'll no doubt use that power to ready the Hogyoku faster."

"...and you didn't think to just tell her that? Also, that seems like MORE reason to train her, not less," Rukia told Urahara flatly. "Keeping her off the front lines is all well and good, but she should at least be able to fend off and attack if someone on Aizen's side makes it to her."

Urahara raised a finger and opened his mouth to respond, before pausing, and slowly lowered his finger. "Okay, yeah, you got me there," he admitted. "That is a very good point."

WHAM! Ichigo proceeded to punch Urahara to the ground in irritation. "...you deserved that," Yoruichi told him flatly. "For someone so smart, you can be a total idiot sometimes."

"...I blame the ego that often comes with usually knowing what's going on more than everyone else," Urahara admitted, as he sat up. "Guess no one can be right every time..."

Lisa's phone buzzed. She fished it out. "It's Hiyori, asking if we're back yet," she told the group. "...huh, and speak of the devil, she says she brought Inoue to Hatchi to get Tsubaki fixed."

"Wait, he can fix that?" Ichigo blinked in surprise.

"Hatchi is not just a powerful Visored, though you wouldn't know it looking at him, but he's also a master of every form of Kido you could think of," Lisa explained. "He even created several spells, and knows many esoteric things. Even if there are only a few people who could fix Inoue's unique powers, he is definitely one of them. We trust him with maintaining our barriers for a reason."

"...fair enough. Guess we're heading back to the warehouse then?" Ichigo asked, and the others nodded.

"What's a Visored, anyway?" Nel asked as they headed out. "You mentioned that term a few times..."

Ichigo took a moment to consider that. "You know how you guys are Arrancar, right? Hollows that gained Soul Reaper powers by removing your masks?" When Nel nodded, Ichigo continued, "Well, Visored are basically similar, but from the opposite end of the spectrum. Soul Reapers who gain Hollow powers by donning Hollow Masks."

"Oh, I see," Nel nodded in understanding.

"Wonder how much the powers overlap... Might be interesting to look into," Yoruichi mused as they reached the warehouse.
