She wants her damn hint!

Raynare's eye twitched. "...I know you're a bit of a dunce, and a pervert, so... I'm going to say this as nicely as I can manage," she said slowly. Then she immediately shouted, "DO YOU SERIOUSLY JUST THINK WITH THAT THING BETWEEN YOUR LEGS?!?! MY HINT, YOU MORON!!!!!!!"

Issei actually jumped a bit at that. "...that was as nicely as you could manage?" he asked with a sweat drop, before it clicked. "Oh, right, I did promise that... Sorry, with how much we had going on, I genuinely forgot about it for a bit..."

"...normally, I would call bullshit, and say you're just trying to weasel your way out, but since it's you, I believe it," Raynare face palmed. "It's a good thing you're cute..." she added under her breath.

Issei managed to catch that, but decided to let her think he didn't hear. "Actually, I'm surprised you didn't ask sooner," he remarked.

She snorted. "I figured you'd probably use the excuse that the Game wasn't decided yet to weasel out, so I didn't waste my time until that bow was tied. And don't change the subject!" she added, crossing her arms. "Spill!"

"Okay, okay!" he raised his hands with a chuckle, and his eyes closed. "Alright, here's the hint I settled on... Rias and I are in a sexual relationship with me as the dominant, and Asia is involved too..."

"...what the fuck!? I already knew that, you ass!" she shouted, getting red in the face. "I literally walked in on you with Rias!"

Issei snorted as she raged. "That's true, but... At what point did I promise that the hint would be fresh information? Devils and exact words again, Raynare, you should have seen that coming," Issei sniggered.

Her eye twitched rampantly as she took a slow step towards him. "Yeah, not going to fly this time. You better give me an actual hint that gets me closer to the truth, and makes me being your gopher almost worth the humiliation, or I'm just going to go ahead and crash out..."

"You know..." Rias remarked as she started getting the food and drinks out of the bag. "If you actually bothered to think about it for about five seconds, you would realize that Issei telling you that old news actually did bring you a little closer to what you're looking into..."

Raynare whirled around to glare at Rias. "And just what do you mean by that?" she demanded, but Rias just snorted and waved her off.

"I'm not going to spoon feed you the answer. Figure it out," she told Raynare.

"She's right, it's pretty obvious how it's a hint when you consider what he just told you and the context!" Akeno giggled.

Raynare grumbled and sat down, trying to think it through despite her irritation. How was Issei telling her something she already knew supposed to be a hint about what she was supposed to look into? And for that matter, what Issei and Rias sleeping together even have to do... With... She paused, realization hitting her like a ton of bricks. "Huh, I think she figured it out," Koneko said blandly, grabbing a container of cookies, and starting to eat one.

Raynare face palmed. How hadn't she realized what Issei was getting at? She got so irritated at him being a smartass by telling her something she already knew, she missed the obvious implication. Yes, she already knew he and Rias were involved, but Issei had told her that in the context of a hint regarding what she was looking into. Before that, she had no reason to think that their relationship had anything to do with what Azazel wanted to find out. Completely unrelated in her mind until he brought it up in this context. Of course, this also brought up way more questions than it answered, but it was a starting point at least. "Son of a bitch," she grumbled, kneading her temples.

"You let Issei troll you," Kiba sniggered, cracking open a Cola. "Talk about embarrassing!"

"Shut it!" Raynare growled.

Issei laughed as he stood to get some food himself, but Rias put a hand on his chest and pushed him back down to his seat. "Let me," she told him with a wink, and started preparing a paper plate of goodies for him.

"...at any rate, Raynare... Thanks for your help," Issei then told the Fallen Angel while Rias who stiffened, and turned to stare at Issei.

"...you do realize that I didn't participate for you jerks, right?" Raynare grumbled.

"How exactly are we jerks for making you do stuff for us? You're literally here to work off your debt in addition to trying to spy on us," Akeno snorted. "You're the one who got yourself into hot water with your own boss."

"You're enjoying it WAY too much, that's how!" Raynare snapped.

"...she has a point," Asia giggled, and Akeno shrugged.

"Touche," Akeno conceded gracefully.

"Regardless," Issei plowed on. "You were absolutely instrumental in our victory. I doubt I could have beaten Riser without the cross and Holy Water you brought."

Raynare flushed, before huffing and looking away. Rias smirked. Oh sure, Raynare was getting closer to the truth of the matter, but at the same time, her loyalties would be in danger of shifting at this rate. Her feelings for Issei were apparent, and growing.
