The Receptionist

Just as Jenn was attempting to close the back of her gown, the purple hair receptionist swung the door open without knocking.

"Hey you're Jenn right?" The receptionist smacked her gum while posing the question without any enthusiasm.

"Uh, yes," Jenn confirmed as she attempted to tie the back of the gown with her hands behind her back. She was okay with being seen naked by the medical professionals, but not the college dropout receptionist.

"Great," The receptionist stated, "There has been an emergency and we have to give someone else your room. We need you to head back to the lobby."

"Oh," Jenn softly gave, "Let me just grab my things,"

The receptionist grabbed Jenn's clothes off the chair and held them bunched in her arms. Jenn was now, wearing only a thin and fragile paper gown, at the mercy of the receptionist who held all of her clothes.

"The doctor assured me that you will still be seen today, so you can just head to the waiting room and we will have another room for your shortly." The receptionist explained.

Jenn clutched the back of the gown, still untied, as closed as she could.

"Could you tie-" Jenn was about to plead for sympathy from the receptionist before being cut off completely.

"We have to go ma'am! Someone might die or something!" The receptionist quickly grabbed Jenn's arm and dragged her out of the examination room.
